Beautiful Days Festival
Every August, Escot Park in East Devon becomes one of the most genuinely warm-spirited music festivals in the country. Beautiful Days was founded by the Levellers in 2003 and has remained stubbornly independent, sponsor-free, and capped at around seventeen thousand people — a scale that keeps it feeling like a gathering rather than an industry.
The 2026 lineup is exceptional. Super Furry Animals headline Friday in what amounts to a full reunion after years away from touring. Saturday belongs to Madness. The Levellers close the weekend on Sunday with the festival's traditional firework finale. Across six stages throughout, artists including The Proclaimers, The Divine Comedy, Billy Bragg, Skindred, and Gogol Bordello fill the time between headlines.
Weekend camping tickets sold out in April — a measure of the loyalty this event commands. Escot Park is eleven miles from Cullompton via the A30, close enough that guests at The Roost make a natural base for day visitors or for those who want a real bed over a tent. Check the official site for any late day-ticket releases.
